Increasing demand for robotics: domestic robots will be sold abroad

The use of robots is increasing from factories to every sphere nowadays. This instrument is becoming one of the collaborators of human beings. There is a market of about 77 billion dollars in this sector. According to market research, the market for robotics will almost double in 2022 compared to 2016. As a result, local entrepreneurs want to grab this opportunity. According to the entrepreneurs, making robots in the country and selling them abroad is no longer a dream rather a possible reality. The speakers expressed such optimism at the seminar titled 'Robotics Career in Home and Abroad' organized on Monday by the Department of Software Engineering, Daffodil under the auspices of Daffodil Robotics Lab. Speaking at the seminar, Dr. Imran Mahmood, Head of Software Engineering, Daffodil University, said that robotics is not only creating entrepreneurs, it is also contributing to society, health and the environment. Rudmeela Nawsheen, Founder & CEO of ConfigRbot said on the occasion that there are talented people in the country who can make robots. Using these talents, robots will be made in the country and be sold outside. Daffodil University Lecturer Hafizul Imran and Associate Professor Kaushik Sarkar also spoke at the seminar.
